✅ How to get a safe offline installer
Because an official offline build wasn’t obviously found in my search, here are steps you can take:
Check Mozilla’s official “All releases” archive
Mozilla maintains a public archive of all Firefox releases. You can browse that archive to see if the offline (standalone) installer for version 143 is available. The archive is typically at
https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/Inside that, look for “143.0.x” → your language → operating system → the full installer file (e.g.
.exefor Windows,.dmgfor macOS,.tar.bz2or distribution packages for Linux)
Use Mozilla’s “Download options / other languages” page
Sometimes the “All versions / offline / full installer” links are hidden under “Other languages / download options” on Mozilla’s site.Verify digital signatures / checksums
If you find a candidate installer, make sure it’s signed by Mozilla or check its SHA256 (or other checksum) against a trustworthy source in the archive. This helps detect tampering.Use portable / nightly builds as alternatives
If you only need to test or use version 143 without full installation, the portable version (PortableApps) may suffice. (But note: nightly / portable builds may be less stable.)
