Things to Know
Difficulty: It is hard. Expect steep learning curves especially with parrying, deflecting, mastering prosthetic tools etc. If you’re used to “Souls‑like” games, you’ll find similarities but also key differences (e.g. resurrection mechanic, posture vs stamina, stealth etc.). Wikipedia+2Steam Store+2
Single‑player focus: While there is asynchronous multiplayer via Remnants, it is not co‑op or competitive multiplayer. PlayStation Store+1

Update vs separate purchase: Most of the GOTY content came via free updates to the base game. So even if you have the original version, you might already have parts/all of the GOTY extras depending on platform and version.
